Speleological ways
The
karst zones of Frasassi area, pride and wealth of Gola della Rossa
and of Frasassi Park, represent a very important tourist attraction
for the vastness and the beauty of underground hollows presentin the
area. Frasassi Caves are the biggest hypogeous complex in Europe. It
is open to the big audience a path of 3 Km of the Wind’s Big Cave,
today visited from beyond 300.000 tourists every year, who discover
unthought wonders made precious with light’s designing created by
Cesarini di Senigallia. Two routes with different difficulty are
reserved for the speleological tourist activity with specialized
guides. The length of the excursions is of about two hours. In the
price of the admission ticket are also included the necessary
equipments. |

Rock On the vertical calcareous walls of the throats and of the main mountainous relief’s of the district many streets of rock, both in the classical mountaineering style and in the modern sporting climb have been opened during the years. Some areas are considered as some "gymnasiums" assiduously frequented for training and practice. Near Genga Stazione’s sports facilities was built an artificial structure for the climb, seat of national competitions. In a few areas the Alpine activity is regulated to avoid trouble to the predaceous that nests on the walls. Monte Revellone’s rock’s gymnasium that towers above the ancient village of Castelletta is the most complete because there are a lot of rock’s ways that are full of passionate people from every part of Italy. In Castelletta Park’s House, conventions and courses are periodically developed on the subject of the sporting climb. |
