The didactic small Farms

In the Territory of the rural District we find various small didactic farms. Dipped in the green and in the countryside, the structures are of help to whom really desire to go on a pleasant trip in the countryside where tocarry out sensory, emotional, manual, play experiences, through group and individual interactive moments in tightened contact with the nature, the plants and the animals.
In the small farms it comes promoted the deepened acquaintance of therural atmosphere and of the naturalistic aspects and stimulated in the pupils the knowledge and the respect of the environmental habitats.
They come carried out the workshops: of the earth, of the animals, with horses, of food education and echo environmental, healthy foods and corrected agrarian practical.
By request, it’s possible to visit a beautiful Country House, restructured in ecological design, with elimination of magnetic fields and purification of refluent waters (Workshops).

The rates do not include:
packet lunch of the first day and everything else not explicit stated. Free admission: to the teachers, one person every twenty paying people.

slipcase with these volumes: “Guide to the territory of the Esini Hills” and “The Rural Atmosphere”.



4. Workshop spontaneous grass
The activity is proposed to carry the children to the acquaintance, the acknowledgment, the collection and uses of the spontaneous grass. 

5. Workshop of taste
The row of the bread: preparation of the land, seeds, harvest,milling, paste and baking in the firewood furnace, preparation of one good bruschetta. From maize to polenta (maize porrige): harvesting, husking, milling, preparation of the polenta and its assay.

The workshops that are carried out in the small farms turn to young people of the advanced and inferior schools excluded thoseactivities that see the involvement of the animals that turn to over 15 years old youth. Every day acceptance max 50 persons.
The companies put to disposition an operator every group of 25 persons,free entrance for teachers.

1. Live the park “ where the Globins live”
Visit finalized to the discovery of the secrets of the forest, short guidedtour to the inside of Gola della Rossa Park and of Frasassi. Informations about the evolutions of the ages of flora, of bugs, and about the observation and acknowledgment of plants and hedgrows will be given.

2. The origin of the plants
Manual and theoretical activity of forest nursery, the humus, the bacteria. 

3. Workshop of the earth
The students act as peasants. They adopt a “field” and they practice manual and theoretical activity to lay out the land,seeds, harvest. Cultivation of the garden: fertilizing and preparation of a “pit”, seed, transplant and collection based on the season, acknowledgment of the main vegetables and their characteristic.
